Harini pips Ram S. Krishnan to win title

Chennai's S. Harini clinched the title in the second AIM FIDE-rated chess tournament, organised by the AIM Chess Academy, at the Surabi College of Polytechnic here on Tuesday. After the ninth and final round, Harini and Ram S. Krishnan of BSNL tied for the top spot with 7.5 points. But the Buchholz tie-break favoured the former.
